Home Exercise Programs (HEP) on Embodia
Using the Embodia mobile app, you can record your patients in session. When you record your patient, this video is sent only to the patient you recorded and cannot be used again with another patient. This exercise will not be added to your Exercise library and can only be found under that patient's profile.
To record a patient doing an exercise, first open the mobile app. Then select the patient you would like to record and tap on Upload exercise for <Patient name>.
Give the exercise a name (under 'Title') and then select whether you would like to record the video by clicking Record video or select an existing video on your device to upload by clicking Select video.
Once you have recorded or selected the video, you then need to add it to your patient's program! You can only send this video to the patient that you recorded and it will not be added to the general exercise library.
Click on the exercise you want to prescribe to your patient. (You will see all exercises that you have recorded or uploaded for this specific patient).
Set the exercise prescription including the frequency at which they should do the exercise, and optionally the number of sets, reps, length of hold, and resistance. You can also add additional notes for your patient!
A video tutorial of recording your patients doing an exercise can be found in the help article, Video tutorial: Record a patient doing an exercise.
