All healthcare professionals and movement practitioners are welcome to sign up to Embodia. The majority of the content is geared towards rehabilitation practitioners, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and massage therapists; however, all practitioners are welcome.

    Carolyn Vandyken

    BHSc (PT)

    Carolyn is the co-owner of Reframe Rehab, a teaching company engaged in breaking down the barriers internationally between pelvic health, orthopaedics and pain science. Carolyn has practiced in orthopaedics and pelvic health for the past 34 years. She is a McKenzie Credentialled physiotherapist, certified in acupuncture, and holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

    B.App.Sc.(Physio)(USyd)., Master in Manual Therapy (UWA)

    Antony Lo is a physiotherapist from Australia and runs The Physio Detective service. He completed his postgraduate masters in Manual Therapy (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) from the University of Western Australia and commenced his Specialization training in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He has been involved with treating CrossFit athletes since 2011 and has helped some of the world’s best CrossFitters at the highest levels through to beginners of all ages.

His primary clinical approach is to identify relevant functional impairments and determine the best self-management strategy to maximize patient independence.

    Jules Poulin


    A Registered Massage Therapist since 2000, Jules Poulin has spent the last 12 years taking courses throughout North America as well as studying, researching and writing her own courses on TMJ Rehabilitation. In 2018, she opened From the Neck Up: North America’s first and only massage clinic dedicated to the rehabilitation of the jaw, head, neck, voice, tongue and ears.

    Devon graduated with a bachelor of science degree from UVic in 2010 and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from UBC in 2014. He spent most of his past working life, before becoming an OT, supporting children and youth living with a variety of special needs.

    Diane Jacobs graduated from U. Sask with a physiotherapy diploma in 1971, started using manual therapy in1983, and went solo in 1994. She has been interested in pain science and working cutaneous nerves into the manual therapy story since 1998; she calls this dermoneuromodulating.

    Dr. Jonas Eyford is a chiropractor and founder of Recharge Wellness who graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2012. Jonas previously specialized in sports injuries and chronic pain but is now focusing his efforts towards workspace wellness.

    Cecile has completed training in Paediatric physiotherapy, sensory integration therapy, Orthopedic medicine, and Orthopedic manual therapy. Since 2018, Cecile has been teaching dry needling and manual techniques as a complementary treatment for Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP).
